About

Hi! I’m Terry Hancock. I write a regular column for Free Software Magazine. I am also currently producing and directing an animated science-fiction web series called “Lunatics”. I’m also raising money on Kickstarter for a project to create a non-DRM fixed-media format for releasing high-definition video, called “Lib-Ray”. In 2009, I wrote a book called “Achieving Impossible Things with Free Culture and Commons-Based Enterprise”.

I have been a lot of things: artist, astronomer, writer, programmer, and now I’m trying my hand at filmmaking (although in fact, I was a film student for awhile many years ago).

I have an online resume if you want to know even more details about me.
